World Class Biomechanical Training for horse and Rider

About Centreline Collective

Centreline Collective was founded by Hayley Jonker in 2023 while she was completing her certification as South Africa’s first Train Your Seat Biomechanics Instructor. Born from a need to fill the gap between traditional instruction and evidence-based rider development, the Collective has grown into a world-class hub for biomechanical and somatic training.

Hayley has since continued her education with leading specialists across multiple disciplines worldwide in rider biomechanics, equine core conditioning, somatics, nervous-system science, and ethical performance training. This global perspective allows her to teach riders how to optimise their bodies, minds, and movement patterns, while developing horses through true biomechanical leverage and softness.

Today, Centreline Collective offers a modern, holistic approach to equestrian performance

Centreline Collective's Philosophy

It's Science

Hayley's approach is built on the understanding that every rider and horse is a unique partnership. To train effectively, ethically, and with clarity, we must develop the rider’s mind, the rider’s body, and the horse’s own biomechanics.

Mind

How a rider thinks, feels, and enters their horse’s space shapes every part of training. A calm, aware, and emotionally balanced mindset creates safety, understanding, and true communication.

Body

The rider’s body is the primary language the horse understands. When we develop balance, alignment, and biomechanical control, we give the horse clear information.

Horse

The horse must also understand correct posture, balance, and biomechanical ease. When a horse learns how to carry itself in a healthy, functional way, training becomes more enjoyable, ethical, and aligned with long-term performance.
