About the event
Amanda makes it possible to identify how the saddle and equipment influence posture, muscle development, and movement patterns - allowing horses to work in comfort, reduce restriction, and develop correct topline and strength. Many horses, often without their riders realising it, compensate for pressure, poor saddle balance, or instability by shortening the stride, bracing the back, becoming girthy, rushing, or "shutting down". These compensations are frequently the real reason training and rehabilitation seem to stall. Amanda helps riders, bodyworkers, veterinarians, and saddle fitters clearly understand where pressure is coming from, how it affects biomechanics, and what changes truly benefit the horse - replacing guesswork with clarity. In her group workshops, Amanda will explore the relationship between saddle fit, rider balance, and functional movement, showing how small adjustments can transform comfort, way of going, and long-term soundness.
