The Problem
Every time a horse is ridden or lunged, they’re learning how to use their body. When the work is consistent and correct, a horse builds a strong back, a supple body and a clear understanding of the aids.
When riding time is limited, or the signals vary from rider to rider, that learning slows down. The horse finds it harder to settle into balance, and the rider finds it harder to reach the harmony they’re working towards.
The answer is consistency: the same clear, correct tools, ride after ride.
The Approach
Over years of teaching, I’ve seen how much clear timing and consistent aids shape a horse. When a horse understands what’s being asked, they move with ease, and their rider finds harmony.
That’s what I build in every session. I lunge and ride your horse using the same biomechanical tools I teach my riders: stretching long and low forward and out, lifting the back, engaging the core and moving in balance. When you get back on, you’re speaking the same language.
Biomechanical change is built over time. With consistent sessions, most horses show a clear difference within around six months: a stronger back, a softer body and a willing, balanced way of going.

More Than Exercise. Every Session Is Training.
I train with a biomechanical eye. I watch how your horse uses their spine, core and limbs, and I shape each session around what their body needs that day. Every ride and every lunge builds posture, balance and strength.
I use the same tools I teach. The aids, timing and lunging technique I use are the same ones I teach in my lessons. Your horse learns one clear language, and when you ride, you can learn it too.
I bring international knowledge to your yard. I organise and speak at the International Biomechanics Symposium, learning and training alongside world-class trainers. That knowledge goes into every session I do with your horse.
I plan for the long term. I don’t just fill a slot. We set goals for your horse together, and I work towards them consistently over months, so you see real, lasting change.
I connect your horse’s training to your riding. When you’re ready, I can teach you the same approach in a lesson, so your horse's progress carries straight into your riding.
I keep you informed. After each session, I send you a short update on how your horse went and what we worked on.

WHO THIS IS FOR
-
Owners who want their horse trained consistently and correctly
-
Riders who can’t ride as often as they’d like: through work, travel, injury, pregnancy or a busy season
-
Owners bringing a horse back into work and building strength gradually
-
Riders who want to step on a horse that’s ready to work in harmony with them
-
Owners committed to long-term change and happy to give it time
WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
-
Owners looking for a quick fix before a show or sale. This work builds over months.
-
Owners who want their horse simply exercised. Every session I do is training.
-
Horses that haven’t been started under saddle.
-
Horses in active rehab without vet clearance.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Message me.
Tell me about your horse: their age, workload and what you’d love for them. If you’re unsure whether lunging, riding, or both will suit them, I’ll help you choose.
2. I meet your horse.
In our first session, I assess how your horse moves, how they use their body, and where I can help.
3. We set goals together.
I recommend the right mix of lunging and riding, and how often. We agree on a rhythm and what we’re working towards.
4. I train your horse at your yard.
I come to you on the agreed days, and every session builds towards your horse’s goals.
5. You stay in the loop.
After each session, I send you a short update on how your horse went and what we worked on.
6. We review progress.
Every few months, we check in on how your horse is changing and adjust the plan as they grow stronger.
7. You ride the difference.
When you’re ready, book a lesson with me and learn to ride your horse with the same tools I use to train them.
