This isn't another pony club weekend.
Over two days at Eaton Farm, five selected riders will work through a full biomechanics-led programme, rider, then horse, then partnership, finishing with a ride-and-go in front of a graded dressage judge.
It's the same thinking behind everything we teach at Centreline Collective: the rider's body shapes the horse's movement, and the horse's movement shapes the rider's body. Pony Camp puts both halves of that equation into one weekend, with proper follow-through rather than a one-off lesson.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
The weekend starts with a morning session unpacking how the rider's own movement, alignment and stability influence everything that happens in the saddle. Building on that, in the afternoon's lesson, the riders will learn how to use the Core Conditioning for Horses warm-up. This lesson shows riders how to support and develop their horse's strength and movement from the ground and under saddle. The next day, we will start with a focused, individual session to prepare each rider and horse for their dressage test, helping the riders apply what's been built over the weekend. We will end the weekend with the riders putting what they've learned to the test in a dressage test in a real setting, with direct, professional feedback from a graded judge. On top of all that, we have educational games during breaks, which will be a fun, hands-on way to reinforce biomechanical concepts between lessons.

Times: 9 am – 3 pm both days
Cost: R1780 per child
Age: 12-14 years old
Lunch: Riders bring their own lunch each day. There is no catering on site.
Grooms: Each rider's groom is required to attend and look after the horse for the full day. Please pack a lunch for your groom as well.
Parents: Parents are welcome to stay for the day or drop off in the morning and collect in the afternoon, whichever suits your family.
